Topic: Hylafax on 7.3

Hello to everybody,
anyone is using hylafax on 7.3 ?
and what contrib you are using ?

Download the tarball from ftp://esurplus.ca/hylafax.tar

run the following;

# tar - xvf hylafax.tar
# sh yuminstall.sh

After installing the rpms with the above you will have to run;

# signal-event postupgrade
# signal-event reboot

After the reboot, run the faxsetup program;

# faxsetup

If your modem is on COM1: then run the following, otherwise edit the 3rd line of install.sh and change the ttyS0 (COM1:) to ttyS1 (COM2:), etc... before running this next command;

# sh install.sh

Add a user (or group) called faxmaster in the server-manager panel. I prefer a group myself... add users to the group. All group users will get copies of all faxes received.

That pretty much should do it.

Besides what kryptos said, I also download this contrib: http://smerp.free.fr/fichiers/binaires/SMERPFax-0.8b1-1.noarch.rpm
This gives you a configurable panel to Hylafax!
