Not to send you away from here, but Smeserver is a server class Linux.
So, if you want a Linux with fancy colourful desktop, you better try ubuntu or some other Linux desktop distros.
But, if you want a DAMN VERY GOOD SERVER, then you do a very good decision to use SMEserver.
Do read the manuals and read it *at least twice*-a sme guru said
Of course you have to able downloading-burning iso to cd -boot and install from cdrom
(or install on vmware) basic skill.You'll need cdrom burning software (Nero, etc) handy.
Install it first, fiddle around the settings and basic configuration in console interface and web based server-manager interface, read the manual again and again.

smeserver is a special linux distro. The way it configure is different from any other linux distro. So, be patient and TAKE TIME TO SEARCH AND READ, believe me.. you'll scratch your head less if you read more.
And you will have a very stable and very secure enterprise server.
Don't hesitate to ask in the forum if you need help. But, do remember this :search first.
