Ciao.
Ho un Fujitsu-Primergy Econel 200 con 1GB di RAM e due dischi SATA.
Durante l'installazione il server si blocca durante l'installazione del pacchetto "udev-039-10.15.EL4-i386".
Ho anche provato ad installare
CentOS 4.5
RHEL 4 Update 5
ma fa uguale.
Il server quando si blocca non switcha sulle altre console ( F2, F3, F4, F5, F6 ).
Ho dovuto installarlo svariate volte per avere l'output di tutte le console:

Ho anche provato su disco IDE, disco USB, a disabilitare da BIOS: ACPI, APM e HyperTrading ma non cambia nulla.
Con Ubuntu 6.06 LTS e 7.04 va tutto a buon fine e funziona egregiamente.

Credo che il problema sia legato al pacchetto "udev" packet problem.
Si puo' fare qualcosa per installare SME su questo benedetto server ????
