Halflife server not visible outside network
«
on:

I have followed the how to (
http://wiki.contribs.org/Half-Life_Dedicated_Server
) but the server is not visible outside my network. Any ideas on how to fix this ? Its running on my SMe server which is running in server and gateway mode. How would I bind it my dns name/external IP ?
I am dhcp and have a dns name that allows access to my sme server from the internet.

its a steam version so it auth's with the key system online, only valid keys work.
if you want the "other" older version you will need to search for a non steam server install.
and thats not a subject we would post about here.
