I have a 7.1.3 server (was upgraded from ver 6) NOT as a domain controller that I'm replacing with a new 7.3 box. I used to be able to do a net use to map a drive to the 'primary' folder and pass it the admin credentials. Then I could just to a 'net use' of additional drives for the remaining user directories and ibays so all of the defined sme directories were mapped. I didn't have to pass any other credentials to do this. I then could create a backup job of all of the mapped drives essentially backing up the user data on the server in one job.
On the 7.3 box, it doesn't allow me to map the additional drives after mapping the primary nor does it allow me to pass the user credentials with each map command allowing me to map all of the user drives and ibays at one time.
Did I have this capability because it was upgraded from ver 6? Is there a way that I can allow admin or another user to access all of the shares on an sme box at once under 7.3?
