In a situation where a boot partition fails, and the partition cannot be recreated ie because the drive is faulty, here is a quick recipe to possibly recover your data.

Yes, that's why I wrote it as no one seems to have done so, or the information is scattered in many places.

I belted that out on my iPhone from memory, so will elaborate & improve it later when time permits, and get it put into the Wiki too.
