In SME 6.01, if qmail processed an incoming mail for a user who had exceeded their disk space quota, the mail would be repeatedly deferred, and get stuck in the qmail local queue until the user was brought under quota, at which point the mail would be delivered. (at least that was the behavior I observed.) It seems to me that it would be preferable for qmail to return the mail to the sender with a message explaining that the mail could not be delivered because the recipient was over quota.
Can anyone confirm whether SME 7.x will reject the mail if it is undeliverable due to quota issues?
