Topic: Remember network password 4 the home/shared directory?

Hi all,

I'm sorry if this has been already discussed here, but I can not find anything about it.
I've got the SME Server (v 7.2) up and running nicely on the LAN, and accessing my "home/shared network directory" with my PC (running Vista) is no problem.

However.. Every time that I reboot the Vista PC, I need to reenter the password to access my "home/shared network directory". Even when I enable "remember password".

Anyone here who might know how I can get Vista? to remember the network password?

If your vista PC member of the domain provided by SME Server? If not, you always need to enter credentials manually, just like a 'normal M$ domain.

If your vista PC member of the domain provided by SME Server? If not, you always need to enter credentials manually, just like a 'normal M$ domain.

If your pc is not a member of the domain provided by SME Server, you could use the same user&password on your vista pc as on your SME server, and you can login to SME without needing to enter the user&password manually.
