How do you use dar2 for smeserver?
« on: February 25, 2008, 03:29:22 PM »
Per the contrib "An smeserver contribution to schedule and run the DAR2 (Disk ARchive) utility" at http://wiki.contribs.org/DAR2 I have installed the dar contrib for smeserver.  But I did not see in the contrib any usage instructions or howto.

I have done one backup to a USB disk using the syntax found in the dar tutorial found at http://dar.linux.free.fr/doc/Tutorial.html.  But I am not sure exactly what the excludes should be for smeserver.  I am wondering if the contrib adds any smesever specific functionality.  The title of the contrib suggests so and maybe it is in front of me and I can't see it.

I have searched the forum but not found what I am looking for.

Duh.  It is used via Server Manager.  Too easy!
