What does the server error log say after you try to connect?

Look in the server's /var/log/messages immediately after you try to connect to using the VPN.

You may have found a bug. Make sure you have the latest updates, and then if you are still having a problem, file a bug report so the problem can be investigated further.

Are you sure? There seems to be a authentication failure.
