I have a high point rocketraid 1640 4 channel sata card. As all my pata channels are used and I wish to install an extra drive to backup my network computers using backuppc onto a sata drive I am trying to use the rocketraid card. I don't wish to use the raid function. There are drivers listed on the highpoint site for Red Hat distros or do I need drivers?. Which should i use for SME Server 7.3.

All fixed. No drivers needed. I did not expect to find the device as hde5
