Topic: Compaq vs. e-smith

I am trying to install SME v.5 on a Compaq Deskpro.  I can't boot off the CD Rom.  I haven't tried off a boot disk.  Has anyone installed it off a similar system?

Stupid question BUT.... is cdrom booting enabled from the BIOS, i have it installed on 2 compaq deskpro's ep's and it worked just great!.Gavin wrote:

I would have asked the same question.  Yes, the CDRom is bootable.  I'll keep trying.

I was a dork.  All I needed to do was use a boot disk. Works great!
