prepending using transformation masks
« on: April 03, 2008, 07:08:29 AM »
a carrier needs me to prepend outbound calls to certain area codes in North America, would you kindly confirm this would be the correct format? ( your funky european dialstrings mess with my inbred hillbilly mind )

when i call 1905NXXXXXX, i need to prepend it with 00015678

would the transformation mask then be 1905:000156781905 ?

thanks!

Your mask is correct sir.  It will do just what your carrier desires.

Speaking as someone who once spent several months getting very drunk in a bar called Mike Finks in Covington Kentucky, I'll be first in line to shake your hillbilly hand.  Everyone there was always very nice to this English boy.  Never could figure out the fascination for Goldstar Chilli tho'...  guess you have to be brought up with it. :)

Kind Regards

Hi

The CDR doesn't look right.

I notice DISA in there, can you give me some background on the call and what you are attempting to achieve?

Do you have a screenshot of the asterisk console log you can post?

Also, I'd like to see what dial plan you have in the route which is carrying this call.

Kind Regards

S
