Allow extra network to use TFTP
« on: April 16, 2008, 03:39:32 AM »
I'm using the IP phones on a separate network, how can I allow this network to use the TFTP server?
I looked at the hosts.allow file and I see where it's, but if I manually edit it, I loose these configs on reboot.
What is the DB command to include these extra networks?

Thanks,

Hi stuntshell,

Is this to provision phones?  If it is, then why not use http?  If you declare a phone as remote then the provisioning files will automtaically be copied into the ptimary i-bay and made available for http download.

If not then simply open and forward port 69 on your server or router.

Best
