Samba Error
« on: April 23, 2008, 12:24:42 AM »
I am running SME 7.0.

The server has been up for 188 days without issue.

Recently New users are unable to connect to the Windows Domain via XP boxes. They are receiving an error " System can not log in because domain "domainname" is not available"

When I run testparm everything seems fine. The new users exist in /etc/smbpasswd. The users were created via the web user-manager interface.

In /var/log/messages I am getting the following errors repeated.

Apr 22 17:58:19 domainserver smbd[6250]: [2008/04/22 17:58:19, 0] tdb/tdbutil.c:tdb_log(725)

Hi..

first of all you should update your sme.. 7.0 is far old..

then, if your problem persist, you should report a bug in the bugtracker

HTH
Ciao
