Topic: IMP upgrade problems.

I put it off, and finally upgraded to IMP3 courtesy Dan Browns Howto.
For the first time ever, I've had a problem. It does everything except actually send mail. Any suggestions as to the first things to check?
Exactly the same configuration worked perfectly before.
I did see some messages about not being able to remove folders during install, but didn't consider that a problem as there are already accounts there. I tried to reinstall all the rpms again, but got reports that all were already installed 100 percent.

The errors you saw are probably normal (without seeing them, it's impossible to know for sure, but some do come up normally).  What happens when you try to send mail?  Do you get any error message on screen?  Is anything logged to /var/log/messages?  Does it save into sent-mail?

Hi Dan!
The install error messages don't really worry me. I've seen other similar ones previously with no problems with any other upgrades I've done.
No error messages appear in the log file.
Well, none that have anything to do with mail anyway..
I just checked again and nothing new appears in the sent mail folder either.
Mail continues to be sent and recieved via the inbuilt mail server configured to be used via the other machines, and sent via the phpbb2 forums installed.
I knew something like this would catch me eventually. It was just too easy
