Topic: gateway 4.1.2 keeps crashing at night

Hi,

The last two nights have seen our e-smith server/gateway (release 4.1.2), crash to the extent that the only way we can get it to respond it to remove the power lead from the back of the box, wait a few seconds, then restore the power lead. The gateway has come back fine each time, but obviously something is wrong.

My knowledge of e-smith admin is quie basic, so can anyone help me find the root of the problem, or has had similar problems?

Hi Phil.
Are there any physical environmental conditions that could make this sort of thing happen?
What kind of box is it on?
Does it have bios settings that could cause this.
Any particular reason that you've not upgraded to 5.1.2?
