Upgrading hard drives on same box - SOLVED
« on: May 24, 2008, 10:51:20 PM »
Hi, all

Can someone please point me to the thread that discusses how to upgrade hard drives on the same box. I know I read it, but now can't find it.

I'm almost sure the thread described how to remove a drive from a 3 drive array and replace it with a larger capacity drive. This one becomes the "master"
One would then add two others of larger capacity, one at at time after syncing.
I need to give home more space...

Thanks a lot,

Replied myself:

More searching revealed 2 links I believe are useful:

Above link should read: http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=41110.0 (as the one provided tries to post to the thread).

Should I edit my post or just leave your correction (thanks for that), to point a reader to the right page?
