Xinetd
« on: May 31, 2008, 12:04:41 PM »
Hi Forum

I installed via 'Software installer' xinetd.i386 2:2.3.13-4.4E.1. It seems that Xinetd is not running.
How do I check if xinetd is running if not how do I start xinetd?

Best regards
AlexG

Moving this topic to the SME 7.x contribs forum, it is more appropriate there. Thanks!

fyr, there is a smeserver rpm in smecontribs

[root@kiwi contribs7]# rpm -q smeserver-xinetd
smeserver-xinetd-0.1-1.el4.sme

[root@kiwi contribs7]# config show xinetd
xinetd=service
    status=enabled
