Topic: Using Kronolith locally with hosted email

Hi, apologies if this has been posted before.

I have set up SME Server 7.3 sucessfully as a test system that is now blossoming into a production one, as users clamor for centralized storage & public folders. A calendaring server is next, and I will implement Kronolith for office LAN use (not remote). My newbie questions:

* We are using a hosted email solution, so I have set up my one SME domain as a local one ("OFFICE"). Email is disabled. Can I use Kronolith without having to activate the email server?

* If I should need to enable Horde, what would be the most appropriate way to utilize it in my situation? Set up another domain pointing to our corporate domain & define it as remote, then enter the hosted email server's MX address in "Address of Internet Provider's Email Server" in Configuration-Email?
