Domainkeys signing of outgoing email
« on: June 10, 2008, 04:17:47 PM »
I would like to automatically add a DKIM signature to all emails originating from an SME 7.3 Server.

There are hints that this may exist as a plugin (perl fragment / module) for qpsmtpd (see /usr/share/spsmtpd/plugins/dkim_sign, and domainkeys), but I have not found any documentation covering configurantion and use.

The wiki / FAQ / Server_Settings / qpsmtpd / Default Plugin Configuration makes no mention of these plugins.

Are they available? Are they currently being developed / tested for SME server use?

Is this the tool I should be trying to use, or is there an alternative?

We have problems getting emails delivered quickly to one or two business contacts who use Yahoo-related email accounts. Can we send some outgoing emails through an external ISP mail server, selected by outgoing email address to get around this problem?

If you use only webmail you can enable the file trailer.txt for all outgoing email from IMP. This function is no usesful outside horde webmail.

Edited: upss..sorry, I recent read "Domain keys". Ignore my post.
