Topic: Mediatrix-1204 or AudioCodes MP-108-FXO?

Hello,

I am currently using a SPA-3000 as my FXO and it is working.  The echo cancellation is poor and the audio levels aren't ideal.

First question I have is should I move to a Mediatrix-1204 or a AudioCodes MP-108-FXO?  I have tried setting both of them up without any success.

Does anyone have either of these working with SARK? And if so would anyone be willing to share their setup?

Don't know the mediatrix unit but it's all just SIP in the end.  It won't be much different to the Audiocodes or the Multitech units.  Just set up a SIP trunk (using a General SIP carrier - doesn't really matter much which one - or set up a new one in carriers;  call it audiocodes or mediatrix or whatever).  Set the unit up to receive a registration from the SIP trunk you've created.  Also make sure that the Gateway (whichever one you choose) is set up to hunt across the available FXO lines for outbound.

We're working on the whole SIP carrier model at the moment to make the set-up of new trunks easier.  Probably in -630 something.. so fairly soon.

I have a audiocodes mp-118 (if i'm not mistaken)
it was a real headache to configure it and get it to work. but once it works, it's just great.
