This should probably be in "General" rather than "SME Server 7.X" because it is not an issue related to the release CD.
BUT....here we go anyway.
Overclocking is OK as long as you are prepared to put up with a less reliable system. If you want the thrills, you may have to put up with some spills.
For a SERVER, I would want to use it at the default specs, the ones recommended by the manufacturer, unless there was a very good reason and I had a good backup strategy in place.
You know you have some issues with CPU Speedup = 14, even if they are seemingly minor. The issues seemed to have disappeared at CPU Speedup=10.
If you really must have that higher speed, test your system for a while (say a month nonstop) for reliability at the higher speed before committing serious data to it. Even then, make sure you have a backup system (DAR2 is good). If there is any problem during the test, revert to the lower speed.
The mitigating factor in this is (I assume) the system worked OK with Windows at that speed for some time.
