Topic: Preventative Maintenance app?

I'm looking for an app that will help schedule recurring maintenance items.  I've looked at egroupware and the project manager doesn't fit the bill.  I've looked at Horde's NAG app, and it doesn't seem to support recurrance.

We're looking for something that would send an email reminder when some task is due and allow us to review past completions of the task.  In other words, we can create a task that tells me to check the temperature once a week, and later I can look back and see that it was indeed checked each week.

I can whip something up, but I'd rather not re-invent the wheel.

Any suggestions?
