Hi,
I have a Cisco router connected to my sme server via serial port, so I can get to the console if need be. I typically use cu on most of my unix boxes to configure stuff using the serial port, is there a way I can install cu?

Possibly, but it would probably be better for you to use minicom, which is already installed.
