Searched for this phenomena, but can't find anything in the forums so far. After last nights backup with the built-in backup utility, I have a load of strange files on the root of the external USB drive. The .dar files are all there in the correct place as expected and backup reports that it was a success and I am able to Verify ok.
As background info, it's an external USB 250Gb Western Digital My Book drive, formatted FAT32 with SwissKnife.
I'm curious to know if it's something I should be concerned about, or I'm safe to delete them.
