Splitting this question out from the original thread.
It does look as if zarafa-licensed is required for Outlook - there are two downloads on the Zarafa site for each distro:
"AGPL3 only" and "incl. 3 users Outlook support".
I will test the Outlook piece over the next few days and report back.
