« on: October 24, 2008, 04:10:53 PM »
I have installed openvpn onto my sme server but the service wont start
I am running server gateway and I am not sure if the cinfif on the server.conf is correct.
Is there any guidelines to setting up this file

Thanks

Lional

I have been using that doc, but all goes well until I start the services then it says that the services failed. Is there any way that we can find the reason for the failure. I think my details are entered incorrectly in server.config.
On the config file do where it says ipconfig do I use the external ip address and must I enter domain  and ip address for the push dhcp entries

You should file a bug report against the openvpn contrib in the Contribs section of the bug tracker.

The contrib should validate the details before accepting them.

Hmmm, I see you are just following a HOWTO from the wiki. Perhaps you should install the contrib package instead.
