Dopo l'aggiornamento 7.4 mi da questo errore:

https://server/webmail/
A fatal error has occurred
Session cookies will not work without a FQDN and with a non-empty cookie domain. Either use a fully qualified domain name like "http://www.example.com" instead of "http://example" only, or set the cookie domain in the Horde configuration to an empty value, or enable non-cookie (url-based) sessions in the Horde configuration.
Details have been logged for the administrator.

a me non è (ancora) successo.. an che perchè non ho fatto ancora l'upgrade :-)

comunque qui trovi un altro caso.. ti consiglio di seguire quel 3ad e di guardare tra i bug.

Ho effettauto oggi un po di aggiormanenti e dopo la riconfigurazione/reboot
del server mi sono trovato che ogni 5 minuti mi arriva per posta una mail con
oggetto:
"/usr/bin/php -q /home/httpd/html/horde/kronolith/scripts/reminders.php"

e nel corpo:
<html>
<head><title>Horde :: Fatal Error</title></head>
<body style="background:#fff; color:#000"><h1>A fatal error has occurred</h1><h3>You must configure a DataTree backend to use Shares.</h3><h3>Details have been logged for the administrator.</h3></body>
</html>

dopo di che ho constato che WEBMAIL (Horde) non va + !!!!

Avevo fatto gli aggiornamenti sulla macchina di test e li non si presenta alcun problema,
mentre questa è di produzione, in questo caso si puo proprio dire che la fortuna è cieca la ma ***ga ci vede benissimo !!!!!

In attesa che qualcuno mi dia qualche indicazione utile per uscirne GRAZIE !

anche per questo problema c'è un post analogo nei forum in inglese, ai quali ti rimando..

verifica anche in bugzilla..

domanda: hai per caso "personalizzato" horde con rubriche o altro condivise?

hai visto bene.. il mio suggerimento infatti è di rimanere in "ascolto" su quei post che godono, senza dubbio, di maggiore visibilità..

i problemi si accavallano ...... a parte il webmail che anche se non funziona non mi preoccupava tanto, qui le cose si mettono malino ...lo sme a smesso di spedire posta all'esterno... (alarm ...alarm ... )

Questo mi sembra un problema di DNS, la rete funziona correttamente? il server riesce a risolvere i nomi? (basta un semplice ping -c 4 www.google.com ad esempio)

Edit:
Oppure è disconnesso dalla rete, ma credo che non sia il caso è la prima verifica da fare!

questi sono tutti problemi di connettività (dns, come diceva incognito)

scusa tanto .... ne apro subito un'altro anche se non mmi sembrava di inquinare niente visto che probabilmente questo rilascio a fatto un casino bestiale e a chi non va horde probabilmente a tutti i problemi che ho io .........

mi sembra ovvio, a posteriori, come ho fatto a non pensarci prima.
il problema era sul nome del dominio dei cookie che con dns sballato non riusciva a risolvere, infatti mettendo l'indirizzo ip funzionava.
