Thanks for the suggestion Selintra!
I force removed the installed zaptel and went to version 1.4.11-51. It seems to load the tdm400+fxo cards ok.

I have done the update to 7.4 and looking for zaptel and zaptel-kmdl for the kernel 2.6.9-78.0.8.EL ?

[root@server sail_sme73]# yum list | grep zaptel
zaptel.i386                                      1:1.4.10-50.el4        installed
zaptel-kmdl-2.6.9-67.0.7.EL.i686         1:1.4.10-50.el4        installed

[root@server sail_sme73]# uname -r
2.6.9-78.0.8.EL


It would be great to have a smart solution via yum.

yum install zaptel-kmdl-`uname -r` --enablerepo=atrpms

should work for the release you are on

Thanks for your answer, i had some problems with dependencies. I solved the problem with reinstallation of zaptel ... Now i can install it like yum install ...
