Well no. The problem exists on the other piece of hardware's firmware and as of yet the manufacturer hasn't deemed it necessary to fix since it works on 99% of the mail servers out there.
If your problem is similar but not with the same piece of hardware I suggest you either open a bug or another topic to try and hash it out.
