Changing from gateway to server only mode
« on: March 04, 2009, 01:12:34 PM »
I need to switch my server from gateway to server only mode. Obviously I will back up first, but is there any advantage to doing a fresh install?

Not really - everything should be fine. But you are right to back up first... you never know what might happen!

Did that. No need to reinstall everything. Just switch it from console/shell login as admin.

Make sure your server is behind a firewall as server-only doe snot have firewall protection as in server-gateway mode.
