I know a solution to fix it:
uninstall dansguardian
after do your yum update
and finally reinstall dansguardian
 

But, my dansguardian configuration is a bit heavy so a also look for a way to fix it without uninstall/reinstall dansguardian

yum update is ok

So you did an update of dansguardian?
and no need to re-configure dansguardian?

yum update --enablerepo=smecontribs dansguardian clamav

yum update --enablerepo=smecontribs dansguardian clamav It updates clamav and dansguardian

in etc/dansguardian i get 2 new files
dansguardian.conf.rpmnew
dansguardian.conf1.rpmnew

I did changes to suited those new files to my original .conf and f1.conf

and its ok
