SME 7.4 and Kronolith
« on: March 04, 2009, 10:52:09 PM »
I have been trying to setup a new SME 7.4 server to replace an older revision.  However, I have been unable to install kronolith. I have followed the instructions in the kronolith contrib, http://wiki.contribs.org/Kronolith,  but the install complains of missing pear dependancies. I have individually installed the required 3 pear components, hoping the dependancy check might be satisfied, but the install still fails becasue it can not find the required dependancies.

I have also tried using yum to do a localinstall, and while that appeared successful, kronolith did not show up in the horde/webmail interface.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. This has been frustrating me for days now.

Thanks.

It's because the php-pear modules are in the smeupdates-testing repo.  I have just copied them back to the smecontribs repo, so when things sync, this will work again.

Thanks. How long does it usually take to sync? I just tried again, but it still did not work. Am I missing something?
Consider this screen capture:

I don't know.  If you really need them know, then download them from the smeupdates-testing repo.

A few hours, you can check the status of individual mirros here: http://mirror.contribs.org/mirrors

Those three files have now been moved to the base so that html composition with imp is supported directly.
