Topic: Remote host can't match request CANCEL to call

I've just made the leap and upgraded to 2.3 and all the basic functionality seems to be working OK. I did run into an issue just after the upgrade whereby the VOIP provider (Pennytel) didn't seem to be picking up the disconnect if I hung up after dialing a number. The output from asterisk was:

Remote host can't match request CANCEL to call

what would happen then was the provider would ring the dialed number up to 3 times after the initial call was cancelled. After a bit of googling I found there was a bug in asterisk 1.4.23 (the same version in smecontribs) causing this problem. I solved the problem by updating asterisk from ATRPMS:
yum --enablerepo=atrpms update asterisk
I'm now running asterisk-1.4.24-73.el4 and eveything seems OK.
