Topic: AFFA with e-smith-base+ldap and e-smith-samba+ldap system move problem

First off I need to mention that i have used the affa contrib many many times in the past to move SME 7.x to new hardware (whether that hardware be physical or virtual).  However, I ran into a problem with one particular set of contribs.  The LDAP integration contrib. (http://wiki.contribs.org/LDAP).

I have tried to make it work a couple of different ways.

My first try, I used the affa instructions normally (http://wiki.contribs.org/Moving_SME_to_new_Hardware).  I made sure all the proper contribs were installed (ie...no missing rpms) and that the versions matched.  After the affa rise, I could not hit the samba shares, or even list them for that matter, and phpldapadmin "Could not connect to the LDAP Server". 

So I tried it a different way...I started with a fresh install again, and made sure that everything matched except for the +ldap contribs and their installed dependencies.  I ran the affa rise and THEN installed the +ldap contribs.  My hopes were that the files used for the integration would be pulled over and used during the +ldap integration.  But no, same result.

So here is my question.  What files/paths do i need to add to affa's backup in order to get a working system on the receiving end?  Which log should i look at to provide the best information in order to get some help on this? 

All the other contribs i have installed seem to be working fine.  Please....help?!  I can provide all and any information you need.  Thanks in advance...
