I have setup a e-smith 3.1 gateway & server for Internet sharing and mail server (using Cyrix II MMX 366, 32MB RAM) . It has been running smoothly for over a month now. There were 2 or 3 incidences where the server could not collect incoming email (these email normally had attachments) from the mail-box on the ISP. The same thing happened if we used Outlook Express and the e-smith Internet connection. However, if we used Outlook Express and Windows' dial-up connection, the email would be collected successfully. I am thinking this may have something to do with the proxy setting but cannot find ways to solve it. Appreciate some feedbacks in this forum.
