Hi,

In messages, I found a few occurences of:

May  2 09:09:00 ethelbert httpd: PHP Warning:  session_start(): The session id contains invalid characters, valid characters are only a-z, A-Z and 0-9 in /home/e-smith/files/ibays/foto-biz.dk/html/inc/init.php on line 187
May  2 09:09:02 ethelbert httpd: PHP Warning:  Unknown(): The session id contains invalid characters, valid characters are only a-z, A-Z and 0-9 in Unknown on line 0
May  2 09:09:02 ethelbert httpd: PHP Warning:  Unknown(): Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0

I run SME 7.4 with the Awstats module from Dungog. everything else is straight out of the box.

Any suggestion of what to look for?

you could match te date and time to the apache access log (/var/log/httpd/access_log), to find out which url was accessed at that moment.

I doubt it. This appears to be a problem with some non SME server PHP code in the foto-biz.dk ibay.

for the OP: what kind of php application are you running? IMHO there's a bug or a misconfiguration..
