osCommerce as starter page
« on: June 02, 2009, 03:40:48 AM »
Hi Forum

To use osCommerce, you have to start your favorite browser at 'http://yourdomain.com/oscommerce'.
Is it possible to start the shop at 'http://yourdomain.com' ?

What do I have to do, that the shop starts at 'http://yourdomain.com' ?

Best regards

Assuming you have used the contribs rpm and installed oscommerce into /opt, then follow these instructions, altered to suit.

As that method outlined can be problematic in some situations, a different approach would be to move your oscommerce install to an ibay, amend the configuration files associated with oscommerce as necessary to suit the new location, and then point your Primary domain at the ibay (in the Domains [panel.)
