Can anyone help. I get a Grub error when trying to boot the server

I need to reinstall Grub on a sme 7.4 instalation

I have been able to boot with the rescue disk to the rescue terminal

I think the easiest way is http://www.supergrubdisk.org, but I don't know if this works together software raid.

Get the iso, burn it to cd and then boot it. You will be presented a menu where you can select "repair linux boot" (or something alike, I don't remember), it will find your menu.lst and reinstall grub.

I now have grub working. I noticed the grub folder missing so copied 1 over from another machine and then ran Supergrubdisk (nice software) The machine now boots OK when selecting Server from the boot screen but when selecting Server-Up i get an "error 15 file not found" Press any key to continue.  Any Ideas?

Someone is more likely to be able to help if you describe what the error is.

You then should determine the cause of the problem before determining how to fix it. You should never need to reinstall grub on SME server.

I came in this morning to a server at the boot saying grub 1.5 error 15 file not found

The server would not boot at all.

I used the rescue cd to check out the files etc and noticed that /boot/grub was missing so copied the folder from another machine and ran supergrubdisk. The server now boots OK when selecting server from the grub boot screen but I get the error 15 file not found when using the server-up option.

What is the difference between server and server-up?

Any ideas what the missing file would be?
