I have machines running OpenSSH_3.0.1p1 which can't do non-password SSH into the e-smith box. Using SSH Version 1.2.27 works fine.I've googled, but while I've found people with similar problems, I've not found answers...
I've done the fix in the FAQ and restarted ssh, no change. If I use ssh -v I get as follows.
