Hello every one
at first i would like to say that sme server is an amazing package , kuduos for the dev team and every one else.
im running sme on virtual box as server and gateway with 3 xp stations connected to it as dc .
i configure backup to workstation as follows :
Backup is enabled.
Backup is made on LAN workstation netshare via cifs
Destination is 192.168.108.x
Destination backup share folder is backup
Login is admin
Password is ********
Number of rotating backup sets is 3
Number of daily backups contained in each set is 7
Compression level (0-9) of backup is 9
Daily backup occurs at 20:00
Each daily backup session is cleanly timed out after 12h except full backups which are cleanly timed out after 24 hours
Full backup session (new backup sets) is allowed only on Friday
i have put a static ip on the station for that backup and gave full rights to the user admin for share .
the problem is that at 20:00 nothing happens , the log file doesnt show any error and no email is sent.
(not releted to this post but with dar 2 contrib i have the same problem , manual backup works but not scheduled).

(solved) as it appers the time on the server was off by 4 minutes so i didnt give the backups a chance to
work . now every thing works as it should
