Topic: Unable to install or download AFFA- can anyone help, advise?

Hi Been trying to get Affa up and running ideally to have a clone SME server on backup and use the rise feature when there are hardware issues.

Am testing it on a test server but can get past the download procedure.
Sorry, I'm a newbie and dont have good understanding of the errors that I'm getting- Im going throught the instructions on:

feature looks really good and would like to test and get a good understanding of it before setting thing up.

I get problems with the first lines of command, heres the error i get...

Can anyone advise what the problem is and how to best resolve it.

Maybe just a temporary name resolution issue with your ISP, or maybe to do with how your test server is connected and configured ie if it is a second server behind an existing sme gateway, did you specifiy the gateway server IP as Internet gateway, and specify the main gateway server for DNS resolution ?

If an issue resolving contribs.org mirrors, then just download directly from (for example)
ftp://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/smeserver/contribs/michaelw/sme7/Affa2/

Hi Mary resolved the problem turned out that Ive lost the internet connection to the server after updating it- didn't question the internet access- ok, feel a bit sillyt I'll go through and figure out why, its not going through any proxy server, the gateway Ive used for the test server is the router/adsl modem- i'll sort this out first. Thanks for the input.
