Topic: long emails keep repeating after fetchmail update

After the fetchmail update this week certain emails keep repeating themselves over and over again. It's only long emails (55k and 220k) with a lot of text. I tried to prolong the email fetching intervall from 5 min to 15 min - it does not help.

So these emails keep coming in over and over again since two days.

I reported a bug.
But I need help now.
The problem seems to be increasing. I'm getting the same emails more and more. since yesterday I got these two emails more than 300 times each. If this will increase further on, my inbox will become flooded.

I haven't found a way to stop it. Restart and reconfigure do not help.

setup your account in verbose mode and take a look at the logs

If the server is fetching the mail from a remote server and for whatever reason not completing the retrieval would it not be good to just delete the mail(s) from the remote server?

Mail clients have problems if the mail they are trying to collect is oversize or corrupt, that's what I normally do if faced with the situation.

I now looked at the external server and found just these two mails left over since days. For whatever reason they have not been deleted after fetching. Manually deleting was not a problem.
