Hi,

Hope this is not a stupid question here, pls help, thanks.

Here i go:-

1) i had created a virtual domain "myhome.org"
2) i need to create  a virtual user account "jason" for "myhome.org"- jason@myhome.org.

In my sme server 5.1.2 linux box, there's a real user "jason" exist and my host domain ie:- host.org, thus email is jason@host.org.

The virtual user "jason" for domain "myhome.org" is not the same jason as jason@host.org. So may i know is it possible to create such with sme server 5.1.2? thereby, when email is send to jason@myhome.org will go to it's mailbox, and email send to jason@host.org will be at his own mailbox.

And to add, this two jason are able to get their email repectively using pop3/imap client- netscape mail or can use the webmail that provided with sme server 5.1.2.

if vpopmail is workable in this case, pls also advise.

note: i had been using qmail/vpopmail in my Turbolinux and Redhat box....however i like the ease and templating system with web GUI control in sme server, so i hope to have your help.

Thanks.

Kelvin

This is probably the closest thing to a solution to your problem :-

Thanks, i had read about it. Yes, it is the closest however it is still a share account sort of like user@domain1.com is the same as user@domain2.com.

I'm trying to have the user@domain1.com to be different from user@domain2.com....

anyone had tried Vpopmail in sme server? Just like the one in "Life with qmail" ?
