Hey all ! I am posting here to say Hello and glad to be a part of this forum will really look into making one of these file servers at home for rock solidness they offer and vast support they offer as well. I am really looking into learning Linux because i am a geek at heart and look to expand my horizons whenever or wherever possible.

Anyway another reason i am posting is because i have an issue posted in the obsolete section and just wanted to make sure it didn't get looked over by any of the Gurus on here :D You know who you are and i dont know what we nubs would do without you guys You inspire me ! :D

Thanks Again

Rudy

Quite the opposite. It's not the bad questions, but the bad responses or lack of response from the original poster that is "irritating", to use your phrase.
I'd say it's more a case of "noobs" need to learn to use the resources at hand, and when they seemingly refuse to do so, or overlook the advice given to them, then it becomes annoying or frustrating, and there is then less desire to help someone who does not seem to be helping themselves.
