Topic: ftp seems too slow....

tried to ftp a large website to the e-smith server.... realy slow and  estimated time  to finish was 2.7 hours! oh nooo!!

ok when I just transfer the web site from computer to computer over a 10 base network it takes less than 20 minutes.
any clues?!

real bad news  it is now reporting it will take 15 hours to complete..... what is wrong? thanks ed sharpe archivist for smecc
