Topic: Is it now safe to upgrade to 7.5?

I received an e-mail notification of the re-occurrence (or a similar bug) of the VPN bug which turned up at a previous update (bug 5628).

I have tried following this on the bugzilla, but I'm not sure if this is resolved or not.  I need this function to be working, so I am waiting to see what's happening.

Please understand - I'm certainly not complaining - I appreciate the work the devs are doing, but I'm not technical enough to get myself out of problems, and the system is working fine at the moment.

Can somebody please confirm when it is safe to update, or maybe post a sticky as was done the last time.

It appears random to me as we only have a few reports so far of the issue described http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5982

Personally, I have updated 2 of my own servers (SME Server 7.3 originally - no contribs) and I use VPN a lot and I haven't encountered the problem shown in bug 5982. I doubt anyone can confirm if it is safe to update as each server has a different set up.

You might want to wait to see what becomes of bug 5982 if you really unsure and always ensure you have a good backup as standard practice

We upgraded 12 Servers.  All are showing this behaviour http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5982
