Hi all,

I use a GSM-Gateway (MV-370), the gateway is registered with the extension 5006 on sail. It is working well but some small potatoes are to do. One of them is the callerid, inbound and outbound is not working correct.

When i call out i like to send my callerid defined in sail (not my mobilenumber) and the inbound call shows only the extension-number 5006 (i like to see the callernumber).

Any suggestions ?

It is unlikely that you will be able to transmit a CLID other than the mobile number of the SIM card.  Here in Europe, most carriers will ignore any CLI you send unless you have some agreement with them and you provide proof that you own the CLI you wish to transmit.  This is to prevent identity fraud.

Inbound CLI should work OK but ONLY if you have your gateway set up as a trunk.  You currently have yours setup as an extension.  Extensions will only ever send their own ID in the CLI.  You need to create a new carrier for your gateway and use that to create a trunk.  Have a look at the carrier template for the Multitech gateway as an example of how to do this.

Hi,

I am using sail-2.5.1-7 at the moment, I can call out to the mobile-network (sail > mv-370 > mobile) but not call in.
When I try to call the mobilenumber i get a busy-tone.

The mv-370 is registred with the extension 5005 but on the CLI I can see this:
