If an productive server in an Company breaks after update, then the Problem must be solved quickly.

If an update breaks a production server, then the reason for the breakage needs to be found and fixed, so that it doesn't happen again, or happen for other users.

Anyway, goodbye and good luck.

Sorry, but I must break my promise and post once again here.
If we could help an User with his Problem for one Moment, we schould do this. Searching and fixing problem or bug can be doing parallel from the Development Team and then release an update.

That´s my opinion!

No, as you might have destroyed vital evidence and the trails of the problem we need to track down the issue and get to the core of the problem.

That´s my opinion!
You are free to think what you like... but that most of the times is trumped by experience, which in the past has shown us that the bug tracker is the one and only place to properly diagnose and document issues.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than its worth ~ Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)
